Typical Annual Showers

These showers are when a number meteors shoot across the sky--appearing to be from the same point. After these such showers, it is possible to discover some more meteorites that survived the Earth's atmosphere!

  • Quadrantids: January
  • Lyrids: April
  • Eta Aquarids: May
  • Perseids: August
  • Dragoids: October
  • Orionids: October
  • Leonids: November
  • Geminids: December
  • Ursids: December


Tips!

  • Find a dark, secluded spot away from city lights; this will optimize your chances of viewing the showers.
